Oracle has been printing money as it continues to grow by acquiring other companies. And this week they did us all a big favor by acquiring Xsigo.
Now we don’t have to figure out how to pronounce, spell or explain this former sicko name… and it can fade off into the sunset fast… where it belongs.

IMO, it’ not pronunciation: if I read it out loud, it would go “ecks-SIGH-go”, and I don’t think there are a lot of other candidates for pronunciation.
The problem comes in the other direction, with spelling: every time I say “ecks-SIGH-go”, I also have to spell Xsigo, otherwise my auditor will likely have trouble spelling(and therefore, finding) the firm’s name.
